A Guide to Switching from Bank to Kauaʻi FCU

Make the switch in four easy steps! It will help you get organized and reduce the time and effort needed to switch financial institutions. We are here to make your transition easy and convenient.

1. Get Organized

Follow our easy step by step New Account Checklist to make the process convenient.

2. Change Your Direct Deposit

Complete and print out the Direct Deposit Authorization Form. Take the completed form to your employer’s HR or payroll department. On payday you can check your account online with our Virtual Branch Online Banking or on your smart phone with Mobile Touch Banking to make sure your Direct Deposit is in your new Kauaʻi FCU account.

3. Change Your Automated Withdrawals

If you have automatic withdrawals from your old account (car payments, insurance payments, utility payments, gym memberships, iTunes, etc.) you will need to transfer these to your new Kauaʻi FCU account. Complete and print out the Automatic Withdrawals Authorization Form.

4. Close Your Old Bank Account

After making sure that all checks, transactions and automatic withdrawals have been cleared from your old account, print out the Account Closure Authorization and mail or deliver it to your old financial institution.
